The high pressure steam sterilization method is the one that more than any other is able to guarantee a reduction of the bacterial load, such as to reach a S.A.L. (Sterility Assurance Level) not less than 10-6.
We provide a wide range of innovative features and services, including maintenance monitoring for our systems, remote management service, touch screen control panel to check all the operating phases and much more.
The plant has the strategic objective of responding to the stringent regulations on the management of waste medical belonging to the European Waste Catalog (CER), using modern technology applied to a highly automated technological process.
1. REDUCED MANPOWER
Compared to other systems, automation reduces the hours of work required for handling hazardous waste. The plant is fully automated, and involves the intervention of an operator for the sole loading of waste inside the trolley, subsequently lifted by an electrical system and sent to the loading hopper.
2. GREATER SECURITY
The various steps in the hands of the infected waste, syringes, needles, etc. can cause unpleasant incidents. The automated lifting and loading system drastically reduces the risk of needles and, above all, avoids contact with organic or liquid substances. The result is less hours lost and more security, at lower costs.
3. CHEAPER SPARE PARTS
Other alternative systems have high, and sometimes hidden, replacement costs: special bags, chemicals and other supplies, available only from authorized dealers. The ECOSYST system does not require special stocks, but is designed so that you can find spare parts anywhere in the world.
4. MORE EFFICIENT DISPOSAL
The waste exiting from the ECOSYST plant is sterilized and reduced in volume in fine size. It can be easily packaged, stored in temporary storage and sent directly to incinerators that can use it to produce energy, or to CDR / CSS production plants that exploit it, thanks to the high calorific value that can improve the quality of their fuel.
5. COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The plant eliminates the unforeseen costs associated with environmental protection regulations. Furthermore, it achieves complete protection against the risks of accountability that the waste producers face when the disposable container passes from hand to hand in an infectious state. Above all, the use of the INCINERATOR is avoided, by eliminating atmospheric emissions of hazardous and noxious substances deriving from the combustion process.
Need other informations?
The systems are designed and built to respond efficiently to the customer’s widest use needs. In the case of public/private hospitals, the plants work on average 6/8 hours a day in a range between 250 and 300 days per year; the timing changes, according to the production of waste to be treated.
For waste collection and disposal companies, the plant is used to its full capacity for 365 days / year; the stops only occur during scheduled maintenance operations.
The plants have a service life of 15 years at least, if you comply with all the EcoSyst requirements and maintenance standards.
Steam sterilization is the method that guarantees the best results, as an opinion issued by ISPRA (Superior Institute for Environmental Protection and Research), after the test performed for the validation according to the provisions of the UNI 10384/94 Standard , carried out by the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Human Oncology of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”.
In addition, our long experience in the medical waste field, and the constant work of Research and Development, has allowed us to implement the technology to make it perfectly reliable and safe.
Technical checks have been carried out on the systems for abating the powders supplied to the plants.
The tests were carried out in order to be able to assess the consistency of emissions downstream of abatement systems and possibly to exclude their conveyance into the atmosphere.
The outflows from the filtration systems are constantly monitored by an analyzer, ensuring zero emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
Most orders are subject to a 40% deposit in advance.
All international orders are to be paid by letter of credit or bank transfer that must be resolved before proceeding with the shipment of the plant.
The plant is suitable for two (2) 40′ containers (Open Top).
The delivery time is variable from 16 to 24 weeks from the date of confirmation of the order and the receipt of the paid deposit payment. Delivery times can be reduced if there is immediate availability of a plant in the company. The installation, except for unforeseen events, takes place within 48 hours. Our team will remain in place with a mobile workshop at your location to complete the installation, commissioning, testing and validation phases of the plant in order to guarantee operational start-up in a short time. In this process a specific training course is carried out for the operation of the plant with maximum efficiency and in compliance with the regulatory and safety requirements.
Our technicians will return in a second phase for a more advanced training.
Eco.system, after each installation, provides detailed information to the operator regarding the management and maintenance.
In addition, service contracts for scheduled routine maintenance are offered as well as a tele-management service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our technicians are able to monitor your ECOSYST system and make the required changes, even from our headquarters.
